Hello, I’m Aimee. This is Oakley.
I’m the trainer behind Oak & Bramble. I’ve spent years working hands-on with dogs across training, behaviour, daycare and kennels.
Today I help owners understand their own dog. The training is practical, kind and built for real life: the lane, the park, the vet’s waiting room.
Two ways to work together
Peace of mind, as standard.
Three gentle steps
Meet and greet
A relaxed, free chat at home or on a short walk. I meet your dog, and you can ask me anything.
A tailored plan
We agree what matters most. I suggest the class, lessons or walks that suit your dog and your week.
Happy walks
We get going. You get honest progress, regular updates and a calmer, more confident dog.

Structured walks
A steady, thoughtful walk with clear routines. Loose-lead manners, calm greetings and time to sniff and explore, all on a long line where it’s safe.
Training walks
A walk with a lesson built in. We practise recall, focus and settling in the places your dog finds hardest, then I show you how to keep it going.
The right company for your dog
Solo walks suit young, nervous or reactive dogs, and anyone still working on the basics. All of my attention, all of the time.
Small groups of no more than four carefully matched dogs. Every dog has a solo walk with me first.
Leighton Buzzard and the villages around it
Including Linslade, Heath and Reach, Stanbridge, Eggington, Wing, Soulbury and Great Brickhill. Just outside? Ask anyway.
Register interestKind
No harsh corrections and no shortcuts. Dogs learn best when they feel safe, and so do their people.
Positive
We reward what we want to see more of. It builds a dog who chooses to work with you.
Practical
Skills you can use on a busy pavement or a muddy field, not just in a quiet hall.
Find the right fit
Learning, together
For adolescent and adult dogs. Real-world manners and focus, practised around other dogs at a comfortable distance.
Just you and your dog
Focused help at home or out and about. Ideal for specific goals, reactive dogs, or a quieter way to start.
Every dog, at every stage
Not sure where to start? A free meet and greet will point us in the right direction.

I’m Aimee, the trainer behind Oak & Bramble. I’ve spent years working hands-on with dogs across training, behaviour, daycare and kennels, alongside continued education, mentorships and seminars.
My passion is helping owners understand their individual dog. I want to build confidence at both ends of the lead, and create strong relationships through practical training that works in the real world.
Oakley, working line Golden Retriever
Oakley is the inspiration behind the “Oak” in Oak & Bramble. He’s intelligent, silly and incredibly friendly, loving both people and dogs. Sometimes a little too much.
From gundog work and scent detection to everyday life, he has challenged me, taught me a huge amount and made me a better trainer.
We’re still on our own training journey, working together so he can be the best boy he can be, while enjoying everything that makes him Oakley.
There’s no one-size plan. We start with who your dog is today.
I coach you as much as your dog, so you both feel sure of what to do.
Training only counts if it works where you actually walk.
